Jenny is responsible for managing and developing the programming team talent to achieve Society goals VACANCT ext. 236 @cfatoronto.ca Programs & Events Associate This role responsible for activities related to CFA Society Toronto's professional development portfolio which is delivered through various mediums. Working with multiple committees and supporting them in delivering events in a variety of formats. These may include breakfast and luncheon seminars, workshops, conferences and other special events that serve the needs of our members. ext. 226 dawn.wong@cfatoronto.ca Dawn Wong Programs & Events Associate Dawn supports the continuing education programs for professional development of members. She works with multiple committees and supports them in delivering events in a variety of formats. These may include breakfast and luncheon seminars, workshops, conferences and other special events that serve the needs of our members. Dawn handles logistics for events created by all the society's programming committees. Alexandra Pegg ext 227 apegg@cfatoronto.ca Information Technology Manager Alexandra is responsible for managing CFA Society Toronto's technology infrastructure and all technology related projects. Her responsibilities include administration and maintenance of the society's membership database and website, help desk functionality and performing data analysis. Alexandra serves as the main point of contact on all IT-related matters and liaises with outsourced vendors for hardware and software issues. Ashley Smith ext. 225 asmith@cfatoronto.ca Volunteer & Member Services Coordinator Ashley is responsible for organizing and coordinating office operations and procedures in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency within the office. Her responsibilities include supporting member services as the definition of the portfolio continues to evolve. Ashley manages the local chapter of the CFA Institute Research Challenge and supports the Awards and University Relations Committee. Ashley encourages the personal and professional growth of society members through her work with the mentorship program. She manages all temporary staff and facility services. Max Pacheco ext. 233 mpacheco@cfatoronto.ca Office Administrator Max is the primary staff liaison to the membership committee and main contact for all membership inquiries. He works closely with the society's accountants and develops and he supports development of vision and strategy for the Career Centre. Max also provides support to the Society CEO, board and standing committees. Candice Spencer ext. 229 cspencer@cfatoronto.ca Canadian Region, Relationship Manager Candice's manages special projects for the Canadian Region. In doing so she works with the 12 Canadian societies to support the national mission. Additionally her role supports the Canadian Advocacy Council (CAC), Canadian Investment Performance Council (CIPC) and acts as a resource for Canadian Societies on collaborative initiatives. Candice's role is strengthened through her lead in the collaboration of both volunteers and society staff across the country. As part of her role with CFA Society Toronto, Candice supports the sponsorship program. CFA Society Toronto Board Manual 2016 Page 3 of 194
